Like all little girls, Jroonsi Simanta always dreamed of a big white wedding.

But for Jroonsi, from Yasothon, north-east Thailand, a severe bone disability from birth meant that her life would instead be one of poverty and deprivation.

Jroonsi Simanta who feared she may never walk down the aisle due to her bone disability, has finally had the wedding of her dreams after meeting a man 30 years her elder

Jroonsi said: ‘People looked down on me because I was different and some even said I would only look beautiful when I was in my coffin.’

But the blushing bride, whose nickname ‘Sayphon’ means raindrop, later met and fell in love with a man 30 years her elder, 64-year-old Bancha Sabuntham.

They lived as man and wife, but Bancha’s job as a security guard did not produce enough income to make her wedding dreams a reality.

Then Jroonsi heard of the ‘Salon Angel’ – real name Mr Ritchaveephat – a beautician and make-up artist who, when not catering for wealthy clientele, donates his services to the poorer people on a free of charge basis.
